Stargate Atlantis follows the adventures of a human expedition to the lost city of Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. It's a spin-off of the popular Stargate SG1, which ran for a whopping ten seasons and was canceled last season. Stargate SG1 is now in its third season and Amanda Tapping, who played Samantha Carter on SG1 for ten years, has joined the already powerful cast of Atlantis. This is a great show and a worthy successor of the original series.
